outh Island. The event will take place at Nelson Yacht Club with races in t
he Nelson Haven and Tasman Bay\, from Friday\, 6 until Sunday\, 8 March 202
6 and will attract competitors and enthusiasts from all over New Zealand an
d beyond. The regatta offers the last opportunity for a race before the Nat
ional Championships at Worser Bay Boating Club in Wellington the following
weekend and it aims to deliver an unforgettable event.
Friday: Invita
tional race to showcase wingfoiling to a wider audience (spectators can wat
ch from shore)
Saturday: Wingfoil regatta followed by social event
Sunday: Wingfoil regatta with a long distance race in the Tasman Bay
Monday+: Visiting competitors are encouraged to stay in Nelson for a few d
ays to connect with locals to explore some of the amazing spots in the regi
on\, and complete downwinders
