Event - Roller Derby Taster

This is a fun event for all ages for people to pop some skates on and learn some simple skating skills. There will be demo’s from Nelson Bays Roller Derby, fun drills to try and a game of sock derby for all to play. (Unfortunately, we can’t play derby in skates until you’ve completed your Fresh Meat training).

This is a free event, with skates available to wear and limited sets of safety pads.

All skaters must wear a helmet (bike helmet is fine) and medium length socks.

Wear comfortable sports clothing i.e. no jeans and bring a water bottle.
