This is an activity not to miss!
Meeting at Nelson Campus we drive out to Kaiterteri where the adventure on the water begins. Students from all campuses welcome, however please note we depart from Nelson.
Waka (Māori canoe) are the living expression of our tūpuna (ancestors) who sailed the Pacific Ocean for thousands of years. By paddling in the waka hourua (double-hulled vessel) you share the treasured ocean heritage. Waka is an inclusive experience where everyone can feel the joy of working as part of a team.
This is free for students to participate! Food provided throughout the day.
*Bookings for this Activity will open closer to the date. International students will receive an invitation to register via their student email.
