Roger Hall’s Pantomime – Aladdin
Set in old Arabee, Widow Twankey’s only son Aladdin vies for the heart of the beautiful princess Jasmine, he must contend with the dastardly Abanazar and convince the sultan he is worthy of his daughter’s hand in marriage. Perhaps the help of a magic lamp will help him fulfil his dreams…
“Aladdin” is the pantomime reconstruction of the classic story and includes a variety of traditional pantomime tropes: highly energetic comedic routines, larger than life characters, and of course – a little bit of magic! There really is something for the whole family.
